The demands of this job revolve around snow and ice management during unpredictable hours - nights, weekends, and holidays included. You must be prepared to be called in when winter weather strikes.
Position includes paver patio installation, retaining wall installation, rock/ mulch installation, plantings and other general landscape duties.
Position includes mowing, trimming, weeding, landscape bed cleanup, & mulch installation.
Landscape Installation Foreman will be required to:
Delegate Tasks
Direct staff in daily work assignments, assess progress
Demonstrate landscaping experties in a variety of areas including, but not limited to paver patio installation, retaining wall installation, rock/mulch installation, planting trees, shrubs, bushes, plants, etc.
Possess the ability to troubleshoot common equipment malfunction, provide preventative maintenance on all grounds equipment.
Position includes ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of irrigation systems for our clients' landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on irrigation systems to detect any malfunctions or leaks.
Repair or replace broken components of the irrigation system, such as valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
Configure and program irrigation controllers according to the specific requirements of each landscape.
Collaborate with the landscaping team to ensure that irrigation installations are properly integrated with the overall design.
Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, water usage, and seasonal requirements.
Conduct regular tests to validate the efficiency of irrigation systems and make necessary adjustments.
Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on water-efficient practices and irrigation system enhancements.
